Nice rotating boxes at the end of the opener!

 

Lack of colors isn't helping the show though.

I like them, but I want to love them.

It is an F contrabass.  I believe a contra player plays it.  They also had a soprano trombone right next to it.

I feel like the judging community is trying to make an example of Madison Scouts design team this year.  It's not a bad corps, and maybe they should be scoring higher.  There are a couple glaring problems here and there though.  They really need to add a lot more color  here and there, and sometimes the brass misses the mark;  and then other times they hit it out of the park.

I still mostly dig the show though.
