Biggest story of the night is .250 difference in GE between Bluecoats and BD.

I’d say BD’s chances of catching the Bluecoats in Indy is slim to none.  Bluecoats will sail right though to next Saturday night.

Man, I sure wouldn’t say that. This is the neck and neck kind of season I love!

Bloo has to watch those content scores for GE and visuals.

SCV running 4th overall in brass doesn't seem right. But I didn't see the performance.

The content issue is an enigma.  It just hasn't proven to be an issue or an increasing handicap.

I foresee them pulling perfect figures in achievement by finals against perfect content scores for others.

SCV was out by .4 in vis cont and out by . 3 in VA comp.   Could it have something to do with all the "non marching" in the show?

Nailed it! I thought Bloo was on fire despite the solos and trumpet issues.

I thought SCV was hot too.

Did they perform a different show than they have performed all season?

More than any other year, I would be so ok with a tie mostly just because I'd like to see both again.  It's like trying to judge between Berlin Philharmonic and Chicago Symphony.  Who cares?  They're awesome!

I'm listening to the Berlin Philharmonic right now. They truly are "awesome."

We must be watching different shows. They march plenty.

Looked about same amount of non marching as previous shows.

I’m as big a Coats fan as there is, but come on. BD is going to fix their issues.

Ironically, the biggest issue with BD has been their high brass. It’s been their Achilles heel all season long. It is very hard to make up ground in brass late in the season, because Crown always competes for the Ott regardless of where they finish. Coats and SCV on any given night are the best in the activity. That means anything less than near perfection gets you fourth, and that will likely cost them the gold.
