Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Avon Lake Memorial Stadium on the campus of Avon Lake High School in Avon Lake, Ohio, and the 2019 Shoremen Brass Classic drum corps competition! My name is Kevin Gamin, Managing News Editor of Drum Corps Planet, and I will be providing you LIVE! From the Stands coverage of tonight’s competition. First on the field and performing in the SoundSport division is Rogues Hollow Regiment from Doylestown, Ohio. Their 2019 program is entitled “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Jive”.

The drum majors are the literal Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Jive.

Low brass quartet opens the show as the corps does silent drill, but that doesn’t last long as the corps turns front and hits us with a wall of sound!

Mr. Jive drum major joins a brass quartet and trap set player, soloing on trombone.

And our first trumpet screamer on the last chord of the opener.

Trumpet soloist now comes up front and switches to flugelhorn for Since I Fell For You.
