Tim K Posted August 8, 2019 Share Posted August 8, 2019 First intermission. I love the first group of OC shows each year. The love being in Lucas Oil Stadium and play their hearts out. Highlights, observations, thoughts: Ibnhear Mor: a bit of Irish pride here, loved them. The young boy, probably 9 or 10 who played bass drum and moved props is my new drum corps hero. Heat Wave did a nice job. Great to see Les Stentors at LOS, received a great reception. Raiders had a strong show too. Loved ballad of “Eagles Wings” from Colt Cadets. Michael Joncas, the composer has always said it’s not a funeral song and Colt Cadets proved it is not. Shadow had a strong, colorful show. You could see the passion in their faces.
