I’d like to see no one get a penalty tonight.

id like to see (hear) all brass and percussion without electronic enhancement so we can hear the true quality and abilities of the players.  Epic fail of everyone’s amps for hornlines except for soloists.

There are several posters here of the opinion that there's no way a fair read can be given by a judge who hasn't seen a corps at least once before.

We've been told that it's possible to ignore the Thunderous Goo to get a good read of music, but is it possible to judge as if you've never seen a show before?

I'm curious as to how this would work.
