There are so many ballads that are just WAITING to be played. I’ve been contemplating your comment for the last five minutes, and I can’t figure out if you’re serious, or if I missed something? I would like to see some minimalism. Classy and understated, but also complex and interesting.

But please oh please go back to maroon and gold.

njthundrrd
Cadets brass webinar going on right now! https://yea.org/cadets/live?fbclid=IwAR2A0Aq2dLEcAHzrRzZrlNZqRxsgGvPYYGaZCidtbO4yM09rsxv5CW9C1gU
dans
Just finished watching the Cadets brass webinar. Wow, exciting stuff going on at the Cadets. They have assembled an amazing brass staff with a good amount of previous Cadets. Fair amount of former Bluecoats members as well. Jay Bocook (brass arranger) mentioned that the show will honor the Cadets tradition. However, the show will not be old school and it will be relevant. The brass caption head announced that the breath-duh playing technique is returning to the Cadets brass line, where it started years ago! 3
waliman4444
Ballads are cool and I hope they choose a really compelling piece of music, but for me the music you come on with and exit with is as important if not more so than a great ballad.. IMHO the Bluecoats first ending last season made more sense musically than the obvious GE boosting "hey jude"..so from the first hit on, keep the MUSIC exciting whatever the genre 1

Continental
I sincerely hope honoring the Cadets tradition means a return to maroon and gold.

I was so disappointed with the "hey jude" ending.
