MikeD
2000 - A great music book, and one of my favorite tenor solos ever. 2005 - interesting contemporary designed show, amazing performance. 2011 - Amazing visual design, with top level performance. off topic... 1997 is my all-time favorite. Celebration and Year of the Dragon are smazing. 1971 - also on my list, as it was so avant garde for its time, down to the printed libretto...and I marched it. 😀

Great show to see live...what a night that was! 2. 2005 - One of the coolest shows I have ever seen. Attended their rehearsal a week before finals and they were scary good. You could just feel a championship! 3. 2007 - My attitude about this one has really changed over time. Honestly, did not like some of the narration; however, probably one of, if not the best corps I have ever seen. And they really nailed their finals performance. I do believe they were the best corps at finals and they probably lost because of the narration.
George Dixon
Couple of you already mentioning 2005 that corps was so rock solid across captions it was more like a stacked BD corps than a cadets corps watching them finals week was otherworldly as great as the percussion and brass were the guard just stuck out to me as the most calm and incredible performers. The mirrored guard work, the movement and the ensemble spinning was really something that first big 2005 brass hit just made the entire audience sit up and take notice - clarity and volume was unreal it was really something Edited March 3, 2020 by George Dixon 4

2000Cadet
2005 - They were strictly NAILS, and the guard made everything look incredibly easy. 2007 - Although I hated the narration (and the semifinals BS that took place when i was there), they performed the hell out of that show. 2011 - The end of the show pretty much sold it all to me. HM: 2000 - Although it grew on me and I loved marching and performing it, I didn't feel the same way about the show as everyone else until the very end. I personally thought it wasn't "Cadet" enough.
