have to fix finals first if you ever plan to get more than 13 corps ( assuming Sun comes back and no one else goes inactive). then you can address the every corps/every show model.

3 classes make more sense with more corps. this year you're telling one corps per class "sorry, no tin on a ribbon for you"

alot more !

3 classes was to separate the 150 member $700 budgets from the 70 member $250k budgets.

hopefully class a will be more open to allowing new corps to join, as this has been problematic in the past.  They’ll let the new group get onto the website, but won’t really invite them into many shows.

class A used to be larger then the old open. for several years less than half of the corps in A class got to perform in finals while every corps in Open class was able to

You understand the comparison though?  There are some groups that were well out of their league in the Upper Class, and some who weren’t challenged in the Small Class. And there was no medium between mini corps/sound sport, and class A.

again...the idea has merit....but here, 3 out of 4 corps in each class got a piece of tin, and one in each class got "oh well, maybe next year"

What are the number of members for each class? Missed when it was announced

Otherwise it would have been the same 2 and one variation getting tin and scraps for the rest.

that’s not better

Anyone have any idea what the attendance was at the shows in Rochester? (I don't. Just asking.)

Kinda the bottom line here.
