I had to go with Blue Knights 2013. Even though it has been done so many times, they took First Circle and made it their own.

I picked Madison Scouts, “New York Morning” ... I am still upset “Empire State of Mind” was a sync right casualty on the BluRays.

Ooh this a tough one. Lots of good shows.

 

I'll go with Animal Farm though.  That ballad has gotten a lot of relistens for me.  

Avian, Continuum, New York Morning, and Life Rite After are hard to say no to.

Mandarins Subterra. In Stanford I thought this has got to be the darkest, strangest show I'd ever seen. Mandarins just kept growing on me through the season and peaked at just the right time in Indy. Musically, I was blown away. Only a very strong  Cadets drumline kept them from climbing over. 

Animal Farm is a pretty close second.

New York Morning, Madison Scouts 2011. I loved 2010 Madison as well. Mandarins 2018 and Crossmen 2016 are up there, too. Love those two shows.

Scouts 2011 takes it for me. One of the most emotionally heavy bottom-half-of-Finals shows I’ve ever seen. And while I’ll forever be mad about the ESOM sync rights, just listening to it is enough for me to say that it’s one of the best, if not the best Scouts closer this decade.

Honorable mention: BK 2012, the one that established their more esoteric identity that we’ve come to know them for this decade.
