Me too! There were some subtleties in that show that really connected with me. As an aside, I remember someone on here ranting about them playing John Adams’ Nixon in China. They thought Blue Stars were glorifying communism. Lol

I'm reminded of a film critic's comment about the Tom Hanks movie, Cast Away, which I paraphrase: "In the end, it feels like a commercial for Fed Ex. Don't get me wrong: I use Fed Ex and I like Fed Ex. But I go to them to be sent, not moved."

I was stuck on Blue Stars 2014 and BK 2011 for this one. Both excellent shows with beautiful music but I have Blue Stars 2014 the slight edge

Blue Stars 2014 takes the title for me. One of their best-designed shows of the decade, even if not their highest-placing.

Honorable mentions: Both of the Madison shows were also very well done and emotional, although not quite reaching the overall emotional heights of their 2011 show, IMO.
