Mike 1990 is one of my all-time favorite shows, with Bacchanale and especially the Organ Symphony. We played both in the band I taught, around 1996. Screetch was the wind arranger, and I wrote the battery percussion that year.
cybersnyder
When I think of Phantom, I think of euphoniums and that makes me happy. Whatever they do, I'll probably enjoy it.

I've been vocal about my disdain for the cheesier of the guard design elements of this show, but the coordination of this show is miles ahead of what the corps has been designing lately. I listen to it pretty regularly. And I'm overjoyed that the 2015 drill designer, Jeremy Hunt, is returning. He wrote for Leander, 5th place at BOA finals. And he wrote for the two bands that finished 1st and 2nd in class AAA at BOA grand nats: Leander and James Madison HS in Virginia. xandandl
As an outsider observing from the sidelines, it really does seem to be a new day for Team Rockford. None of the usual "But that's the way we always done it" ...yet still Regiment. (This leads to a link to learn more about succeeding the current CEO.) "Are you an exceptional leader looking for your next career opportunity? Are you passionate about the life-changing benefits of performing arts? Are you ready to positively impact the next generation of leaders?" Edited November 18, 2019 by xandandl
