kevingamin
Great buildup while playing backfield. Horns turn front and nail us with Russian and Ludmilla.
kevingamin
This is one of my favorite classical pieces and I get a thrill whenever I hear a drum corps horn line nail the 16th note runs.
kevingamin
A little fancy footwork from the brass while the pit plays.
kevingamin
All of the props are black and white and evoke the keys of a piano in some way.
kevingamin
Waltz feel from the pianist to open the second movement. Trombone soloist joins in to play first the melody of What A Feeling, then the opening melody of Bohemian Rhapsody. Pit takes over and plays the chorus of What A Feeling, still in that waltz feel. kevingamin
Trombone soloist now on fire playing What A Feeling straight. Horns come in on the chorus. Great musical moment!
kevingamin
Trombone duet continues with What A Feeling while the percussion comes in on the next section of the show. Pit playing some more Bohemian Rhapsody to introduce the horns playing the song.
kevingamin
Tenors throwing down from one of the table props on the field! Serious blurry stick action!
kevingamin
Well, when was the last time we saw Reading straight up rock out? I’m loving this.
kevingamin
Also, screaming trumpet trio in the pit adds to the fun.
