A recording of classic Sky moments and city sounds comes from the pit before a pre-recorded announcement of the corps is made. The corps all sets up in front of props on the field.

TRAFFIC JAM!!!

Would that corps announcement have been the pre-recorded voice of Fran by chance?

I think so, but I’m standing near a gas generator, which is making it hard to hear some stuff.

Baritone and flugelhorn soloist opens the second movement. Solo guard dancer with an umbrella, again, second corps in a row.

Two totally different themes which use similar items and music.

We are now feeding the birds. Anybody have a tuppence? I need it to buy a bag.

Very well balanced horn sound on the impact. Even the trumpet on the top note stayed within the ensemble sound.

Slow opening to Step In Time. Looks like we’re using the Broadway version of the Mary Poppins music.
