Now that the Mandarins have kicked the door down... and Academy before them... I wonder which corps, if any,  will be the next first-time finalist.

I'm understanding "1st Year" as when a corps first finished top 12.  Boston's "1st" was in 99.  If this is about DCI Finals, there was no DCI finals in 71 for the BD to compete in.

Yeah, I am confused by what “1st Year” means as well.

Pac Crest is next. California will be well represented with four corps in finals 2020.
