I also like outside sound over indoor, BUT love the comfort as well as the guarantee of a show inside. Dangerous city with nothing to do there. No one wants to go to St. Louis. No. Chicago? Not downtown. Could work in northern or western suburbs. Cleveland? Dangerous city. No one want to go to Cleveland. No.

Bob P.
I'll bite, but only outdoor stadia: Albuquerque NM Pasadena CA Phoenix AZ Tucson AZ It is a fantasy after all and I don't think that these venues run much of a rain-out risk. I don't think that finals will ever be outdoors, therefore I shall never attend any it seems. Good on DCI East Allentown for my finals. LoveKathyG
I got bored with Indy after Year 2 and haven't been back since. That said, I would be willing to go every four years. My choice would be a rotation in four zones... West Rotation Pasadena - I live close. It never rains in August. I'm superstitious about bringing bad luck if you say something out loud, but it REALLY never rains in August. Denver Midwest Rotation Indy Madison - Totally ok with dealing with the parking issues for a town as drum corps friendly. South Rotation Miami Atlanta East Rotation Boston NJ
KeithHall
There is a good chance that if a new stadium is built in Buffalo it'll be an indoor facility.

The question is who will own the stadium. This came up when Giants/Jets built Met Life. They had considered putting on a roof. But,I was old by representatives of the Giants that,if they did,the NFL,not the teams. control when the roof can be open or closed for games The Giants/Jets feel playing outside in bad weather is an advantage. So no roof. Buffalo is the same. They tout playing outside in bad weather. If the facility is not owned by the team they may want a roof for year round events, even if it has to stay closed for Bills' games in bad weather. If the Bills build it,they have to decide is playing outdoors in bad weather is enough of an advantage to limit the stadium's use.

Chicago is leading the way in shootings year after year. And if you are going to the Northern or western suburbs in Chicago, whynot just stick with Madison?

I’ve only driven past Cleveland so I have no idea but we went to the St. Louis regional in the dome in 2018. Seemed safe enough to walk from our downtown hotel to the venue. Plus, we walked to restaurants without incident.

Well, no, not as dangerous as some like to portray. If you look at the number of homicides, Chicago is very high, but if you look at those numbers against population, Chicago is dramatically lower than many other cities.
