New this year is a large video board, however. Overall, Goodman would be problematic. Natural grass, potential conflict with home football games, only 2-lane roads leading to it, excessive distance from front sideline to grandstand, and an elitist administration that would prefer not to be involved. They sure don’t need the revenue. By the way, I pretty much live right across the street !

Brenda and I went to Easton for the BaconFest, but was an up-and-back in one day. A long day, and a lot of bacon. LOL. First time we've been to that festival... it was amazing!!! Fred Windish
Some crazy good festivals around the country! We’ve enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits Festival at Jekyll Island. Yumm! You’re always welcome to my home, Fran!

Great facility, great parking, centrally located in the Northeastern Corridor, easily accessible via Interstate highways, plenty of reasonable hotels nearby (Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton), proximity to major airports. Nearby casinos have great entertainment venues and offer an opportunity to either win back the money you've spent on travel--or an opportunity to lose your shirt! It is, however, a grass field, albeit one of the best around. For many years, the Philadelphia Eagles used this location as their preseason training site. Drainage is excellent. Total seating capacity is about 16,000 including the boxes, so about 8,000-10,000 seats are available on the "Home" side. Near-by Lafatette College, with a total seating capacity of 13,000 (8,000 home seats), has a turf field. What does DCA look for when making a "deal?" as much free as possible, lights
Galen
It's too bad UDel's renovations are going to be going on for a while. That's a good-sized stadium, good geographical location not too far from Philly. Not sure what kind of relationship the university has with the marching community though. And there have been drum corps shows (DCI) there before. I worked at least one of them.
