I have a (former) colleague from USAF who taught middle school & somehow got involved with a (15 YO) student. Age of consent in that state is 16. He cooperated from the get-go & received 10 years probation & lifetime on the registry. I think it would be a lot harder in the future for a Corps director to scrub his (or any other) name from the SO list if they wanted to hire him.
