Do you think the H, Weinstein sentence of 23 yrs. will have an impact on this pending case? There are possible scenarios that could influence the decision-making on either side. This is in affect a life sentence for Weinstein (68) not to mention an equal amount of time if he is convicted of the charges in CA. At any rate just throwing the thought out for discussion. If Hopkins fears that he'd be found guilty at trial and face a harsher sentence, the Weinstein news might make him likelier to take a plea. Also curious about who SS is, but more importantly: it's by no means limited to Hollywood. It's always been about power. Powerful people in the media just have the added characteristic of being famous. But this sort of thing happens in all sort of industries.
