Weaklefthand4ever
76' BD - Legend of the One Eyed Sailor was great - We did it at UA in 1990 (I think....there was a lot of beer that summer...) American in Paris If we stretch a few measly years to '83 I would put up Madison with Strawberry Soup That being said are we actually talking about official corps songs or just specific pieces played in that era by a corps? If we're saying corps songs, I'll have to throw "Georgia" into the mix because, well, you know. I nearly cried the first time I got to play it again at CV in '04, especially with Hunter playing the solo. Watched and after picking my jaw off the ground I was sorry I didn’t discover drum corps until 2 years later Edited February 22, 2020 by JimF-LowBari

OK. But I’m guessing someone likes the other two they mentioned.

Was not sure of 1970 counted. LOVE "Free Again". Definitely on my 60's list, as they played it in 69 and 70. Skyliners..."Give My Regards to Broadway" exit with the "Little Ol' NY" reprise and final fanfare from the end zone. Bayonne...1976 closer "What I Did For Love"/"One" from "A Chorus Line". Jurassic Lancer
OK, of course I say Danny Boy, but isn’t there any love for 74 Scouts’ Ballet in Brass? Or Brian’s Song? Edited February 23, 2020 by Jurassic Lancer
