So is 3,000 dead people a lot or a little? Just trying to get a sense of what counts as tragic to you.

Well it is 1 out of every 425,000 people there, if that puts it into perspective as opposed to other risks, including those that could result from overreacting.

3,000 people died in 9/11 attack out of 300,000,000 Americans. 1 out of 300,000. Does that make the attack any less tragic?

The bigger point I'm trying to make is just because something is statistically insignificant doesn't mean it is insignificant.

I don’t think anyone is saying it is insignificant.

Very small percentage considering there is 1.35 billion people in China and 3000 deaths is a equally small percentage of people who have died from other causes in China over the same period. Just saying! Tragic - no! death is inevitable.

If they do, will they increase the size limits accordingly?  Otherwise it prevents younger people from moving into those positions.

Given a choice, If the season is cancelled, would it not best to keep in touch with this year’s age-outs, determine how many would return for an extra year (and get a financial deposit). With a better handle on how many new members are needed for 2021, keep a certain number of spots open, or do not accept new members for 2021.

Or other corps will benefit from added talent pool.
