If Current DCI Model Gets Cut Back...

Why is that confusing?  Stadium expansions are difficult enough to begin with, but even more so in a downtown location.

(I did say "the number originally quoted", which was the Vanderbilt stadium seating capacity.)

I thought  you meant number of coronavirus deaths...

Are you trying to make a comparison? We don’t yet know the scope of Corona virus deaths. Also, deaths from automobile accidents don’t increase exponentially.

Nope just providing info just like N.E.

It’s also approximately the number of Americans who die each and every year of vehicle accidents.

Accidents are contagious. Doctors and nurses don't catch accidents from their patients.

(And "every year" is doing a lot of work in your sentence.)

Covid doesn’t appear every year. Vehicle accidents do. It makes no difference if they’re not contagious. Many thousands of people killed in vehicle accidents are innocent bystanders.

Died with or because of? There is a difference.

What are the numbers on flu deaths in the USA last year? Around 34 thousand. There is a flu shot that limits contraction and symptoms and that shot is not mandatory.

I don't think Vanderbilt has held a DCI show. And they have! corrected my own assumption.

(1) Nobody dies of HIV. In any case, we've been *under-counting* the number of COVID19 deaths. When you hear that 34,000 die of the flu in a year, that's a calculation that's done after the fact, not a record of everyone who tested positive for the flu. In New York, the weekly fatalaties this year have been more than twice as high as the weekly fatalities last year -- but only about half those additional people have been confirmed COVID19 deaths. The rest are, for example, found dead at their homes and quite often aren't tested.

(2) 34,000 seasonal flu deaths NEVER happen in just 50 days. Hospitals aren't overwhelmed. Bodies don't pile up in refrigerated trucks and even spare rooms. Doctors and nurses and police and firefighters and grocery store workers aren't decimated by it.

Lol. It’s a new virus. You really don’t think it’s going to be around in years to come?

Now imagine what it would be like without efforts to prevent drunken driving and to get people to wear seatbelts. Not to mention to ensure cars have safety features.

Drum Corps Xperience needs to clean up its various "Titanic" entries. For starters, the Broadway musical composer's last name is Yeston not Yetson.

No it's not.  A POTUS adviser stated that It's not COVID-1 but it's COVID-19.  It's the 19th version of the Coronavirus.

Therefore, it shouldn't effect the DCI model.  #StayOnTrack
