Blue Knights '91.

I love this show.  I love the music and the Zingali drill that year.

For a while there was a local artist who did custom painting on their flags - each one being unique.  I wonder how long they continued that tradition.

And yes, I miss the dots.

There is also a horn player in a sling still playing.  I look at that and think about how absolutely dedicated these performers are.

BK was having a drill camp at the University of Wyoming Field House.  Several of us at UW were drum corps people (Troopers, PR, SCV, Scouts, Railmen) in that era, so we went over to check it out.  Some BK staffer was talking to us while they were learning drill, and my friend asked "I heard ZINGALI is writing their drill.  Has he been here?"  The guy said something like "Yes, ZINGALI is here."  And that's how we met George Zingali.

Jimmer arranged the music of the show.  Strong design team 90-92.

I believe the artist's name was Brenda Vang? Their flags looked to be hand painted at least through the early 2000's.

Phantom '91 semis.

Love seeing the drill from different perspectives.

Note at the 10:00 mark in the video the guard does half-frontal with the hornline which would change with what happened in finals.

Phantom being "cheeky" later in finals.

The guy must have played the end of the show over and over and over. 📼 is worn out 😆
