What three consecutive corps shows would you quarantine with?

Recommended Posts

Suppose that the authorities tell you that someone you've been in contact with lately has tested positive for coronavirus, and accordingly they're going to quarantine you in a hotel room for the next two weeks. Free room and good food on the government's dime for the next fourteen days, but for some reason, the entertainment options are limited, and as far as drum corps goes, you're only able to watch three drum corps performances, and they have to be from successive years.

For example: Blue Devils 2014, Blue Devils 2015, Bluecoats 2016. Or Phantom Regiment 1988, 1989, and 1990. Or Kingsmen 1972, Caballeros 1973, Santa Clara Vanguard 1974.

They don't have to be all the same corps. They don't have to be different corps. They don't have to be DCI. But they do have to be from three years in a row.

Which three shows would you choose?

This was inspired by a question circulating about asking which three films (not necessarily consecutive) by one director you'd quarantine with.

(I'm torn between Yojimbo, Sanjuro, and High and Low on the one hand and Notorious, Rear Window, and North by Northwest on the other.)

1992 Crossmen             Songs for the Planet Earth

Yes, I cheated. You can bill the extra show to my room service.

Blue Devils 2014: "Felliniesque"

Blue Devils 2017: "Metamorph"

Blue Devils 2012: "Cabaret Voltaire"

Fittingly, a phantasmagorical and dada response.
