What bothers me at least as much as than the bigotry is that he that he was reckless enough to share it. Almost no one, myself included, can claim to be totally unbiased in matters of equity, diversity, and inclusion. We're all human, and none of us can totally escape our environments. But for many years Morrison led and until yesterday sat on the board of an organization that is supposed to be welcoming. For him to make a public comment like this suggests not only an unfortunate bias but a deeper psychological issue: not to have known how such a comment would hurt the organization (and arguably demean its members) shows him to either an irrational or supremely entitled person. But that is probably in keeping with his previously not only having made the dubious decision to give a "second chance" to a sexual miscreant but also having, per the Philadelphia Inquirer story from Dec. 2018 to which I linked last night, taken the step of paying to cover up that person's past. And that last item continues to be really, really troublesome. Who does that? It's just so bizarre. Ask yourself why a person might go to such lengths to cover up the truth. Why was Morrison so committed to helping Moody that he not only hired him but spent money to make it harder for people to know the truth about him? Edited June 9, 2020 by N.E. It was about porn surfing with work computers and using the work network (which IS monitored). Had people nailed for that over the years and can’t understand if they think THEY won’t get caught or missing that brain piece that puts 2 + 2 together.
