He is no longer employed as Creative Director and Color Guard Caption Manager. Because this is a personnel matter, no further information will be released. Question: Do staff like Ramirez normally have permanent jobs? Or do they typically have contracts that expire at the end of a season? N.E. Brigand
And either way, they could have just let him go and said nothing, right? Take his name off the website, advertise for a replacement, and so on, without ever making a statement? By making a statement, even one with no explanation, you're telling someone: he's gone.

Or, in the world of speculation and condemnation for not doing something, anything, maybe telling EVERYONE is a mea culpa to eliminate that threat along with the actual one. Quietly letting him go would never satisfy the rage if the story, or ANY story, surfaced after the fact. They would have been accused of hiding it. Continental
Considering that this organization has been put in the spotlight with another accusation across multiple SM platforms, can you really question why they would make the additional comment in this announcement?

But did the comment “because it’s a personal matter, we won’t release any info” help or raise more eyebrows? When there is an announcement of someone leaving a job the company doesn’t usually feel the need to say this.
