BeinGreen Posted June 16, 2022 Share Posted June 16, 2022 The winners are the big story, not the losers, I was in 2-7 in 83, some thought we were in good position after taking 8th on 7/30 in Whitewater but we got 10th with a 79 on 8/20, truck broke down going home in SC, offloaded equip onto fire ant hills then onto buses, ended up being bitten by ants traveling back north, Crossmen seemed to be in good position after beating Cavs on 7/9 and 27th on 7/16 reaching 73 by 7/17 then their scores went backwards!!! I felt horrible for them. Xmen got 13th with 78.60 on 8/19 and were out of it smh. Sky, Alliance, Cavs, Xmen all had shows worth noting but the story is the winners despite the huge struggles and battles taking place from 8th thru 16th in 1983.
