Yeah things change and now maybe mask are a waste of time? The CDC says that over 70% of infections are with people who wear masks.

I'm going to get in line to take the vaccine because I want things to get better. YMDV

Ever stop to think if more people had used precautions such as masks and distancing we might be back to work or school..... Instead it’s arguments about “my rights” from people and #### little or nothing about protecting others

There are states without mask mandates correct? I don't spend much time worried about people who don't wear one.

But its pretty clear that the infections don't equal hospitalizations and deaths. That is really good news. But I don't see much reporting on it. We do get to see the pro mask folks assault the folks who don't wear one.

I had this discussion ( argument ) with someone just yesterday. They said , " If you dont feel safe among those who don't wear a mask in public stay home. " I said why should those trying to protect themselves and others, even a little be the ones who stay home, maybe it should be those who don't take any and all precautions. Obviously the argument goes nowhere.

I was in a supermarket about 2 weeks ago and saw a man escorted out by 2 employees for not wearing one. Of course it got heated and police took the guy away. Sad

I don't care what the white house has said or what the cdc has said.

That info is CDC's own data. Not something I am making up. Sorry if they don't want people to read it then take it down off the website.

Could you please post the link to that?  It would be good to read.

I wonder if people had the same objections when underwear was invented.

Nice way to dance around the question. And stores here usually don’t force the mask issue as people have been shot or beat up when asking someone to wear a mask. So it does go both ways...

Exactly the answer I give. But noticed when I say it’s for other people’s benefit I get a blank look. It’s like concern for others is a foreign concept.

and for those who want things to get back....why not do anything and everything to help that happen, even the slightest bit. Clearly all you have to do is turn on the TV lately to see the opposite

How can I or you at this point say when. Clearly there is no definitive answer to that especially with numbers rising again.

You can say it in whatever manner you feel applies.

"When cases stop rising."

"When there is a vaccine."

"When there are several vaccines."

"When vaccines are mandatory for corps members."

"When treatments reduce the case fatality rate below (whatever rate you choose)."

"When cases drop below (whatever rate you choose)."

"When deaths drop below (whatever rate you choose)."

"When (whatever health/government agency you choose) says interstate travel may commence without quarantine."

"When (whatever health/government agency you choose) says sports may commence without restrictions."

"When (whatever health/government agency you choose) says audiences may assemble without social distancing."

Pick one.  Or make your own description of when we will reach "safe" conditions.
