Well dang my birthday is the 13th (yeah Friday) so easy enough to remember. So 6 months and few days to go.... 😬

the key is that the longer they "plan for a season", the more students they can get to pay for access to audition material etc...

I just saw an announcement on Facebook that Spirit of Atlanta will not be participating in Indy this summer and is instead focusing on 2022.

You fell for that as well.  That was "Spirit Drum & Bugle Corps" of Newark, NJ.  😁
