Big difference between working mostly with adults in the jobs you described and having room full of children who don’t understand or not mature enough to remain masked all day. And some schools HAVE reopened only to close multiple times due to outbreaks. Edited February 14, 2021 by JimF-LowBari

I used to work with one of my kid's elected school board and both of these fixes are easy - they can be fixed by throwing money at the problem. That is why politicians often talk about getting class size down - it can be fixed with money.

Then it’s cut budget to save money and not raise taxes (if you don’t have a kid in school why should you have to pay school taxes 🤯). To keep it corps related, another thing to make it harder for corps to find sites as why have “outsiders” use “our” facilities that the locals have paid for

Last week I walked by a local elementary school that happened to be on recess. The kids were in the playground playing in the snow piled up on top of each other without masks. My first thought......I hope those teachers are safe.

If you are under 65, you need to have some pre-existing medical issues. The State controls who is eligible to receive the vaccine, not each county. People 16-64 can sign up and register, but that does not mean they are eligible right now to receive it, barring other issues. https://www.camdencounty.com/vaccineregistration/ The mega site has a questionnaire that you fill in and it forwards you to an appointment schedule if you are eligible to receive. I work k-12 my son works for essential shipping and my daughter is in food delivery service and my husband has preexisting conditions. So we were all refered to schedule appointments upon filling out the mega site form for Camden County.
O'Neal's
Me scared - lolz - I think many of you are scared. everyone? Have to sleep sometimes. Schools throughout the country have been open all school year. Some of you must live in really unhealthy areas. Some keep mentioning their schools keep closing , seems like if you had one super spreader event it would be major news, yet your local schools are on revolving super spreader events. That is bonkers. of the 400 thousand + dead if all of those really are from covid. That might not be true. Even still the numbers are all down. You might be right 99.97 could be not closer to the real 99.99. Eventually you will see what is coming, right now you are very use to everyone working to keep your grocery's and necessities going while you sit at home "working". Many of the country have been out working the entire time. Still alive living life even after having the disease. Dang science! defined - the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. from cnbc "The science around the link between children and the spread of the coronavirus is still evolving, but a growing body of evidence suggests that kids attending school do play an important role in community transmission." https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/11/20/covid-19-schools-data-reopening-safety/?arc404=true https://www.who.int/docs/default-source/coronaviruse/risk-comms-updates/update39-covid-and-schools.pdf?sfvrsn=320db233_2 https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/13/coronavirus-children-and-schools-a-guide-on-what-we-know-so-far.html https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/cdc-schools-covid-19-coronavirus-spread-precaution/67-eb0eadfa-6f14-4aaf-98d9-961703025102 https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/2020/12/we-now-know-how-much-children-spread-coronavirus/

I sincerely hope that you and your loved ones never have to experience saying goodbye to a loved one via Zoom as they pass in isolation. Perhaps with your experience you can't fathom that as of yet. I assure you that as you age (if you are indeed the age you say your are) your perspective will change. If it does not, I'm not capable of answering the question "why?" Your determination to march a season will so pale in comparison. 1

All it takes is one case and the school shuts for safety sake. As for your claiming 99.99%. Take that crap to a SM site that claims Covid is a hoax and no precautions are needed. I’ll go with Johns Hopkins. If you or anyone keeps pushing only 1 out of thousands die I will have the thread closed as OP.
