avdefanti
I am interested in joining DCI for the 2022 season but I have some concerns about my health. I have some prescribed medications, including a monthly injection, that are refilled every 30 or 60 days. How would this work while on tour? Is it just not possible because refilling prescriptions is just not feasible while on tour?
MikeN
Corps medical staff (or designee) will take up your meds when you get there and pass them out to you on the prescribed schedule. You likely won't be able to get refills on the road, so you'll need to bring enough for the tour with you when you move in. Corps do it all the time, it's not a big deal - just be proactive in communicating with them about what you need. Mike

boxingfred
Yes, several kids in a corps I worked with were on insulin. The medicine was kept in the food truck refriderator. Also, some medications were kept with the medical staff who were on for the whole tour. Edited May 7, 2021 by boxingfred
