O'Neal's
Before the Devils announcement on Switzerland they were being touted as physical responsible etc etc etc. Now they are being praised for the responsible actions of planning a international trip. There are restrictions on travel to Switzerland yet none of the folks who point out the logistical issues with travel within the USA are pointing these international issues out. Why is that? According to the US government US embassy in Switzerland USA is on the list of countries that can't stay but could pass through the airport if your destination country is other than Switzerland. https://ch.usembassy.gov/covid-19-info/#:~:text=Currently the Swiss Immigration Office, for Switzerland have been met. https://www.sem.admin.ch/sem/en/home/sem/aktuell/entry-restrictions-to-third-countries.html

Same for DCI & summer 2021 tour. But at least there is a plan in place for both groups. But never forget - The large print giveth, the fine print taketh away.

This is one time I would get the trip insurance if it is available for covid cancellations. Ediker
These are tough decisions. No doubt, the leaders of BD, SCV, and Crown have weighed the considerations carefully. In 18-24 months we’ll know whether the decision to field a competitive corps for 2021 was a wise one, or not. That being said, I have an increased appreciation for the corps who have committed to a competitive 2021 season, and who are fortifying the activity’s major events this summer. 1

I think that it could be rather costly, even if available.
corps8294
It's the end of the world! The Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, and Carolina Crown won't be at DCI!

Speaking of the fine print... recent DCI press releases have confirmed that the 2021 events are not contests. Nobody in the DCI community is fielding a competitive corps this summer.

Which is why it’s makes no sense to tour or ask participants to pay $3,500.00 for a it doesn’t matter two week tour to Indy. 3

That's a lot of Poppycock for sure. Look at all the likes and thanks on that post. The tour fee is high but there are kids at age out last year and this year who are willing to pay the cost.
