Yeah... couldn't find a "Cadets 2021" thread...

Though I probably won't be shocked to find that it was closed.  🙂

Go Cadets anyway! Woo!

WHY IS THIS THREAD NOT 50 PAGES LONG ALREADY?

SOMETHING IS WRONG!

😉 It's good to see The Cadets back in action.

Any videos? I can't find it anywhere.

That's why they are in the boonies. They are really going to surprise everyone.

Because I've been mostly silent this year.

I think this is a brilliant choice for Cadets.  Very similar to Phantom.  Both corps have reassembled staffs that produced great shows, both are trying to climb back up, and this is not a judged season.  Finding shows - and uniforms - that resonate with kids and fans can only build excitement, good will and momentum for both corps, in my opinion.

I'm praying this is  a launching pad for both corps into 2022 and beyond - the activity needs a great Cadets and a great Regiment.

I also picked up in the video just how thrilled the kids are to wear the traditional uniform.  I support most of the evolution that DCI has gone through.  But not the dropping of the uniforms.  They are incredible tradition and a huge part of their identity.  I've heard this over and over again too over the last few years.  The majority of the members love it when they can don the traditional uniforms.

Here's to a great 2021 celebration for both - and all - corps.

In 2005, I remember being disappointed that our uniform didn't have the curly-cues at the end of the white chest embroideries.

I really enjoyed the 12.25 and Angels and Demons variations.  I think that this variance on the traditional style is a fantastic design limitation that only draws "kids" into the Cadet ethos.

Don't even get me started with those uniforms.

I can't believe I haven't heard any of what Cadets are playing this year.

2021 Rocky Point is the best arrangement yet IMO, much more traditional but with a modern edge to it

I've also heard the Dancer in the Dark, it's very 2005 true - should be a great moment

I sadly could care less about Moondance lol

I haven't heard anything since the Memorial Camp stuff
