One thing I never noticed in my research. Did corps that missed Finals get paid anything?

Hell 😈 the studies my previous church did on its problems were basically funded or led by synod. We couldn’t afford to pay for much.

you can't compare the 2 circuits. DCA has no office, no full time staff...they have not produced any media for sale for what 5/6 years? DCA has no set pay per show scale, it's every corps for themselves negotiating.

actually the pay was based on placement...and not every corps was guaranteed money if they didn't place top 3. Now at least in DCI World class, you get a set fee every gig, tho its on a sliding scale based on previous placement. So you didn't have to be a member or not.......your name carried more weight getting paid for the shows that didnt pay based on placement.
