You can pull up your ticket whenever available and screenshot the barcode to eliminate dependence on signal.

If I load my ticket into my "wallet app" from my Ticketmaster app, then it doesn't require a signal.  Correct?  I used my wallet several times in the past but didn't think it needs a signal for the "wallet". 🤔

Interesting order of performances. Tough to schedule a hotdog break (though there is one corps I comfortably skip each year if needed).

They'll be intermissions, of course, but I am never anxious to join the crowds for that, even during non-pandemic times.

If that really is the order each night it will be very interesting to see how it effects the butts in seats. Friday you have all Finalists in the first 8 slots and Saturday night you basically have most of the perennial Finalists performing at the beginning of the day. Does the crowd stay? There’s no awards and rumors of no retreat. Will be interesting. I’ve been to finals every year since ‘04 and I know the stadium is less full earlier in the day and fills up as the “Top 12” perform. What happens if the time slots are opposite?

Not 100 percent sure...but don't think these are the performance orders based on some information I've seen relayed to parents. Hopefully we'll know soon.

Cavaliers parents have been informed that Cavaliers will march next to last on all 3 nights. Sound like 2019 reverse order to me.

Listing the corps in different orders each night is just a playful webmaster having fun with us before the actual schedule is posted.

I use the Apple wallet and you don’t have to be connected. I put my boarding passes on there all the time.

The bonus corps on Saturday is the Columbus Saints.

I spoke with people at the Lawrence show who happen to be going to Indy. All are vaccinated, some are concerned that the state of Indiana has a 45% vaccination rate and Indianapolis itself has a 40% rate. There were concerns about the “honor system” and mask wearing, but a general consensus that people should not be required to show proof of vaccination. None thought DCI issuing a mask policy would be a good idea, but expect it will and understand why this may happen. I think this would be a typical conversation anywhere.

Many of the people who will be sitting around me have been vaccinated. Some will wear masks, some will not unless required. I know I will mask up in line for concessions and walking around the marketplace. I don’t believe any of the corps will have “self serve” souvenir stands. I think you’ll ask for something and a person will sell it to you. I’ll probably wear a mask during the shows, especially if it makes the people sitting with me more comfortable. At places other than LOS, I will wear masks in stores and indoors places in Indy. Outdoors, no, unless there is a crowd.
