Fri Aug 6 - Bring in Da Noise, Bring in DeKalb

Recommended Posts

The Midwest Combine continues its tour Friday, August 6 in DeKalb IL. Originally to play in Rockford, the Show of Shows will be presented instead at Northern Illinois University.

It’s a gloriously HUGE grand stand with no track. Not a bad seat in the house.

Phantom Regiment has the encore.

DeKalb... if a stadium could speak...

think of the thousands of performances since the 70s (were there shows there prior to the 70s?)

The hey day of Drum Corps Midwest - two nights semi/finals competition in July for DCM Championship --

Great memories!

The same stadium is there from the 70s? I competed in that place too. I remember DeKalb's claim to fame was being the home of where barbed wire was invented.

They done renovations but it’s still NIU’s football stadium with the big wall that sound bounces off of.
