burdettsky
Not trying to create turmoil where there isn't any, but in any of the announcements for the DCA Championships moving to Rochester for 2022 and 2023, I didn't see the traditional Labor Day Weekend dates mentioned. Honestly, I didn't hear any dates mentioned. Can someone in the know advise as to whether the dates are being discussed as a possible move away from Labor Day weekend at all? It seems that has been an often discussed change over the years, but it always stays in the Labor Day Weekend dates. Thanks in advance! shombell
Its on Labour Day weekend - I got this in writing from the DCA office last week. They tell me its Labour Day Weekend for 2022 & 2023 Maybe the Directors will force a change in the future? I have seen this mentioned on one or two Facebook posts. Not been to Rochester for DCA (my only experience is W/Port 2018 & 2019), heard great things and awful things about Rochester from various people. At least it will be live again! Jeff Ream
my hunch is until they gain consensus, they had to sign the deal and Labor Day was chosen.
ajlisko
It would be interesting to know what other towns put in a bid ...
