I'll weigh in on the "Awakening" show. I thought I was "stoned" the entire show smoking the "devil's lettuce". I liked the music but the theme & guard uniform (statue) were just stupid. Popular Post TigerBaritone19 Posted June 5, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted June 5, 2022 Just got back from GWebb and a few things I noticed: Part 1 and 2 on the field with choreo and prop work. That is all they worked on in ensemble so I am not sure what else they have on the field at this point. Brass will contend for the Ott like always. Part 2 has the most notes I have heard Crown play in one movement since 2012. Guard is very good this year. Lots of rifle work that already looks crisp. Lots of choreo and the drill is what you would expect from Sacktig. Overall, I think they are at a great place for the end of week 2 of spring training. I can't wait to hear chandelier on the field, I know it sounds amazing on the field when the right ensemble does the right arrangement of it, and from what I have seen they have an awesome arrangement of it.
