No one has been discharged, so evidently not. The system for reporting offenses of a harassing/intimidating nature is designed to be private. It has to be, because the more public the process is, the more opportunity for additional harassment/intimidation to occur. Privacy is an essential part of the pursuit of justice, for the sake of both the abused and the accused. If you have never been in either of those positions, imagine yourself in their shoes for a moment. How about a simple statement of “ we aware of the allegations and we are looking into it?” Is that too much to ask for? remember these stories are breaking in places members, potential members and parents go long before it gets to DCP. For every story that we've read or heard, how many more are there out there without having seen the light of day? Five? Ten? Twenty?
