Technically two, I suppose, but 2021 Bluecoats' Lucy.

Anything Copeland is a strong 2nd.

I don’t know … this is tricky … I think 2019 The Beatles was the better show, but 2021 Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight was the best moment of those two shows.

I think Cadets 1987, Appalachian Spring may be the best, but I want to give a shoutout to Garfield 1984, WSS, and 1991 Star, Pines of Rome.

Oh, I wouldn't disagree, JL. 2019 was a show that could have won in a lot of years and I'm not sure Lucy could have won in 2019 or 2018 for example. However, from a favorite perspective, Lucy won my heart.

Who was the composer that invented snippets of melody followed by brass power chords while pit plays chromatic runs?

I dunno, but there's something you don't hear nearly enough in drum corps.

1990 Star of Indiana: Walton’s “Belshazzar’s Feast.”  One of the all time great/high quality (and loud) shows.

This was the best example IMO of the great performance of those King horns.  Such incredible power.

Here's a throw-in... Star's brass was dominant in 1990 and 1992, but not the year they won in 1991.

I can name several Cadets shows that are my top tier .... but here's one most forget:

1985 Suncoast Sound - Florida Suite by Robert W. Smith (all original music)

Redone in 1989
