I’m guessing that happens right away.  I doubt there is any benefit to keeping them that remotely justifies the risk and association.

Unless they think they can educate the person so they can grow and be better

Then again, all those 2022 Spirit auditionees have to go somewhere...

So where are corps at with recruiting at this point? Would any agreements be signed or money spent yet? That would be interesting (and nasty) if anyone pulls out and/or wants reimbursed.

An incredibly overlooked element in this statement:

==========

If you had a positive experience with a particular organization or the activity and someone did not, it does not negate your positive experience. Focus your energy on making sure everyone can have a great experience like you did instead of contributing to a culture that silences survivors.

IMHO DCI used the abuse allegations as a convenient excuse to get rid of a Corps that didn’t fit the brand.
Cadets situation was a whole lot worse, and even after reorganization & new BoD there were ‘member on member’ accusations in Indy that are similar to those described above.  And nothing happened. What kind of message did  that send?

They went for the low-hanging fruit with Pioneer.

 I guess we see where DCI’s toothless policies have gotten us.  But that’s fine because everyone still has a job so it’s all good. (Sarcasm off).  In any other non-profit or NCAA sport, the head of the organization or university, would be history.
