B-Flat Posted July 2, 2022 Share Posted July 2, 2022 The Cavies show is really good, as i enjoyed it a lot. However, it's obvious the trumpets are currently the weak link in the brass. Overall brass is outstanding, but trumpets had more than a few intonation issues. I do believe their brass caption head will iron the issues out and they will me top notch by finals. I also think the show has lots of potential and GE. The only concern is the guard, as they seem to be missing that umph. As someone mentioned on another thread, these large guards have the featured members in the front then the rest are fillers.
