Sounds like something a drummer would say.

The Guardsmen played Rush's "YYZ" back in '87; so that's a start.

Suncoast had some in the drum solo in 84

Anyone remember pre-WGI drums in an auditorium? UCLA bass solo featuring YYZ.

I've heard a rumour Bluecoats will be doing Tommy from The Who. Has anyone else heard or can confirm it? Would be a fun show, for sure.

Havnt heard this rumor.. but if I had to guess, its untrue. Bluecoats just did  Beatles Music back to back. Music from the 60's. Why do another 60's era Brittish Rock Band's  Music ?  BD did " Tommy from the Who " in 1990... tied for 4th with that show and music. Dont see Bluecoats doing this show music this season.. but who knows.

I just have to point out for all of my drummer friends out there..... Keystone, Slingerland, Jeff...

Premier Resonators with Remo Power-Blow (I mean Power Stroke) heads which have clearly been like triple rimmed for maximum explosion potential. Ahhhhh...the 80's how I miss them
