Drum Corps at the Rose Bowl (June 25, 2022)

Recommended Posts

Blue Devils "Horn Line" + "Moon River" ...  NICE ... VERY NICE !!!

Maybe it's just me ... but IMO ... SCV's scaffolding ... Blue Devils "Stairs" [in the beginning] ... looked "shaky" ... when some of the performers were on them/climbing [SCV] ... walking up them [Blue Devils] ...

... Glad for Drum Corps to be BACK ! ...
And to think we are treated to another show / competition tomorrow ... Sunday, June 26th ... YES !!!

Yikes. Are y’all drinking the blue koolaid? Lol. What am I missing? But I’m all about the positive energy….so I’ll leave it at that.

I saw them with the battery marching off.

That's where I thought I saw them but didn't notice them on the field.

Wasn't the Rose Bowl grass in 2007 my son who marched that year said it was terrible. But they switched to turf since then. Thought that would fix it.

Still grass, but there's now some moisture on the field -- went from 90 when the show started to low 70s now.

If you pour 4 cocktails into one glass you sound less like an alcoholic 😉

What makes me sound like an alcoholic is that they were all doubles 😛

I wish the horns would play and march at the same time more.  Too much standing and playing.

Nice to see the ABBD crowd is already in mid-season form.
