George Dixon Posted July 31, 2022 Share Posted July 31, 2022 (edited) So, tonight's performance by the Cadets is IMO the corps most important in several seasons, possibly since way back in 2015 Currently in sixth place, the corps has several strong corps behind them > Cavaliers, Blue Stars, Mandarins, a little further back Regiment and others. A handful of these corps absolutely have the talent & content to make a run at Cadets. Can they maintain the "buffer" between them and the 7 to 11 place units? Tonight, Allentown and of course Prelims in Indy will decide. Sounds like Cadets have been very busy CLEANING and adding small enhancements. Scoring above 89 or above tonight (a 90 would be HUGE) would be a nice step as the organization works to "rebuild"? A 7th or 6th place result this season would go a long way 🙂 Good luck to all the corps tonight, hopefully the weather holds out! I think Troopers need a good run tonite as well (their Facebook pages seems to say they will be competing). They are coming of a Covid-break and along with BK, Colts, & Crossmen are vying for the 11th & 12th spot in finals.
