Two weeks ago Blue Stars had a two point edge. now down to .8 Also, starting to pull away from Mandarins. Let’s go Green Machine!! Well, within a point is good. Still within reach. Looks like there is about a point between each corps 6-9/10. Shaping up to be an exciting DCI finals week!!! corps8294 Posted August 3, 2022 Share Posted August 3, 2022 It's beyond the "what if" point now; but if the Blue Stars had a percussion section that was on par with the guard and brass, the fight for 6th place would be a lot closer. Naw I respect the hell out of the Cadets and really want to beat them but totally understand them being 6th. But it was impossible for Blue Stars to beat Cavies or Phantom. People swore left and right the only reason was because of COVID yet it's many shows later and they still did it. And yes the percussion score is literally what's closing the gap because they won it so handily but every night we have seen many people say "percussion scores are whack" and "they are calling it as they see it" at regionals/flo shows.
