Props are not on the sheets per se, however, if a corps is serious about competing, their GE score is impacted negatively if they don’t “do props”. Hence the term “compulsory” was used. The reason why PR isn’t on G bugles? Quick. Wait for this, is because b-flat instruments are de riguerer. The point I’m making here is that monkey see monkey do needs to go by the wayside….just as G bugles and Kevlar drumheads have.

BOA ideas on a DCI field, what a joke.  There was a grand time when every BOA wished they could be like a DCI corps.  But, DCI corps caved to status quo and lost their edge.

And for the last several decades, it’s been a spiral … BOA ideas become WGI ideas … become DCI ideas … become BOA ideas. And up, and up it spirals. Who designs for each circuit? The names are the same.

ok so then tell Phantom to roll out the Kanstuls and design a kick ### show without props. ditch the speakers too...no body...get the buckets back on their heads...get the split shell snares back out...a Rockford file is a must.
