kevingamin
Next on the field is the Mighty St. Joe’s Alumni from Leroy, New York!
kevingamin
Drum line is playing the corps on from the front sideline. Full honor guard leads the horns and guard onto the field.
kevingamin
Contrabasses going the cool route and wearing baseball caps instead of shakos.
kevingamin
One of the drum majors is currently in the soprano line. For a minute, I thought he was on a piston-rotor horn.
kevingamin
The corps starts their performance with an intro of In The Mood. Great intro into the tune, with sections trading off the classic opening line. The corps then goes into Bandstand Boogie, with a little swing in their step as well as in their playing. kevingamin
With the first piece finished, the drum majors switch. Literally. They’re both sop players.
kevingamin
Stars and Stripes up next. A down opening, similar to how the Marine Drum & Bugle Corps does their arrangement before going into the most famous part of the song. kevingamin
I’m thinking this would be a color pre if the corps was doing a full field show.
