kevingamin
Wow. Trap set player lost a stick, but grabbed another one out of his bag so fast, he literally didn’t miss a beat. That’s clutch.
kevingamin
After the full group plays the melody, a trumpet soloist gets a turn. Now back to the full group.

kevingamin
America the Beautiful. Heather Staring, one of the mellophone players, actually conducts this one to start it off. We have a flugelhorn soloist on the melody. Horns doing a great job of playing at a low volume with quality during this section of the show. kevingamin
Full group now on the melody. The arrangement has a nice fast 6/8 feel, very jazzy while still feeling laid back.
kevingamin
A little New Orleans funeral dirge opening before we go into the closer of Saints.

kevingamin
Soloist time. First trumpet, then trombone, then they join together.
kevingamin
Also, this is another trap set player this morning who is playing with full out energy and really laying it down for the group.
