combia1 Posted November 1, 2022 Share Posted November 1, 2022 US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis Much better acoustics for marching bands and drum corps than LOS Stadium and facilities staff is easy to work with - they host the Youth in Music Marching Band Championships every year and there is usually a home Vikings game the next day. That facilities team is easy to work with and they know how to turn around a facility overnight. Schools in MN don't start until AFTER Labor Day, so finding housing and rehearsal facilities at local schools should be easier. Northern location = not nearly as hot and humid in August LOTS to do in and around the Twin Cities. And Duluth and the North Shore are an easy day trip.
