Scringus Posted February 13, 2023 Share Posted February 13, 2023 I have recently come into possession of a King K-40 Flugelhorn Bugle, and I was wondering if anyone who's marched or owns one has any recommendations for proper mouthpieces. It takes my alto horn (tenor horn) mouthpiece, but I'm not convinced that that mouthpiece is creating the best tone or intonation for the horn. If anyone knows what mouthpieces corps used for any alto or flugel bugle I would love to know what works, the mid voice section is such a hard beast to tame!
